Hi-Tech MACA

Maca is the root of a vegetable native to the Andes region of Peru. Known commonly as Peruvian ginseng (though they are not in the same family), maca is a cruciferous vegetable (like cabbage, arugula, Brussels sprouts, broccoli) and contains glucosinolates. These compounds have been studied for a number of different applications. Several studies have reported elevated levels of luteinizing hormone, progesterone, and testosterone with Maca extracts.
